The team’s pacer became Chris Woakes Inzard and now he is out of the remaining match due to a shoulder injury. The England Cricket Board (ECB) gave this information on Friday.

Woakes injured in 57th over Vox suffered this injury in the 57th over of India’s first innings on the first day. Vokes, who was fielding on mid-off, drives the boundary and managed to save the four. But while saving the four, they fell strangely and sat in the shoulder. Then England’s Physio Ben Davis ran on the ground and investigated the injury. What do rules say? According to ICC rules, batting or bowling replacement is found only when the player suffers from contingent (head injury). If a player suffers a head injury and complains of confusion, dizziness or blurred, then he can be given a conversion substitute. In that case the player playing the same role is included in the team. Vokes is not in the head, not a shoulder injury, so England will neither get their bowling subsidy nor concentrate substitute. In such a situation, the player who will come on the field instead of Vox can only do the fielding, nor will bowling nor bowling.
