90 thousand crore rupees sent to farmers in UP: PM

Till date, the installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi is going on without a break and a quarter to 4 lakh crore rupees have been sent to the accounts of the farmers. More than 90 thousand crore rupees have been sent to farmers in Uttar Pradesh alone.

The Prime Minister also gave an example of ‘Crop Insurance Scheme’. He informed that under this scheme, the claim of more than 2 lakh crore rupees has been given to the farmers so far through insurance.
