The case started in 2020 between EPIC Games and Google. EPIC Games used a secret in their Fortnite game, which bypassing Google’s payment system. After this, Google removed the game from its play store.

After this, an internal e-mail of Google was leaked, which said that EPIC Games were planning a separate app store with other game developers. After which Google removed the game from the Play Store. EPIC Games sued Google in this case, after which the court considered it the monopoly of Google.
