The fifth Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy between India and England is being played at The Oval Stadium in London. On Thursday, England’s Stand-in Captain Oli Pope won the toss and chose bowling. India lost 6 wickets for 204 runs on the first day on the helpful pitch for bowlers.

Sai Sudarshan was the top scorer of the team by scoring 38 runs. Captain Shubman Gill scored 21 runs. Gas Atkinson and Josh Tung took 2–2 wickets from England. The second day’s game will start at 3.30 pm today.

India lost 2 wickets in the first session For the first time in the series, England Management gave a helpful pitch for bowlers. Where the green grass was clearly visible. Despite the swinging condition, Team India lost only 2 wickets in the first session and scored 72 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal could score only 2 runs, but KL Rahul scored 14 runs after playing 40 balls.

Gill run out in second session The second session game started late due to rain. Captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan took the innings, when Gill was run out. He scored 21 runs. Shortly after his wicket, it rained again, due to which the game could not be done for about 75 minutes.

3 wickets fell in third session The third session did not rain, the sun blossomed and the game did not stop. However, fast bowlers were clearly seen on the pitch. Josh Tung took advantage of this and made Sai Sudarshan and Ravindra Jadeja get caught. Sudarshan 38 and Jadeja were dismissed for 9 runs. The first match in the series, Dhruv Jurlel tried to last a while, but he too was dismissed by 19 runs.

Karun Nair returned notout Karun Nair landed on number-5, while Washington beautiful on number-8 came to batting. Both did not let any other wicket of India fall until the first day’s play was over. Karun returned notout after scoring 52 and beautiful 19 runs. Both will carry India’s innings forward on the second day. Chris Woakes also got 1 wicket from England.

Dhruv Jurlel got a chance in Playing-11 in place of Rishabh Pant.

4-4 changes in playing-11 Both India and England teams made 4-4 changes in their playing-11. Captain Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Bridan Cars and Liam Dawson were seated out from England. He was replaced by Jamie overtan, Josh Tung, Gas Atkinson and Jacob Bethel.

India also made 4 changes in playing-11. Jaspreet Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Rishabh Pant and Anshul Kamboj were seated outside. In his place, Akashdeep, the famous Krishna, Karun Nair and Dhruv Jurael got a chance.
