A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. Here an alcoholic husband cut his wife’s neck with a knife and killed her. This gruesome incident happened when the accused husband went to take his wife from the maternal uncle. The murder became more frightening when he did all this in front of his three innocent children.
The case belongs to Jansar village of Ajgan police station area. The accused has been identified as Rajendra Lodhi, who was married to Sunita 14 years ago. Both have three children Payal, Ritika and Diwakar. Rajendra was addicted to alcohol and that is why there were frequent quarrels between the two. 20 days ago, due to a domestic dispute, Sunita had come to her maternal uncle Jansar village with her three children.

On Friday, at around 2 pm, Rajendra reached the in -laws to persuade his wife and take them back. But the dispute started once again with wife Sunita. There was a ruckus between the two till 5 pm. Meanwhile, suddenly angry Rajendra took out a knife from the pocket and attacked his wife’s neck in front of the children.
Sunita fell on the spot and fell and started suffering. Hearing the screams of the children, the villagers ran and the injured Sunita was immediately taken to CHC Nawabganj, but the doctors declared her dead. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and accused husband Rajendra was arrested. The body has been sent for post -mortem.

Co Hasanganj Santosh Singh said that the reason for the murder seems to be a family dispute. The accused is being questioned in custody. All three children are in shock and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the family. The police is investigating the case with every angle.
