The Indian Foreign Minister shared a picture of a meeting with Xi Jinping on the social media site X on Tuesday morning.
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday. According to news agency ANI, Jaishankar told President Jinping about the progress in relations between India and China.
For the first time in the last 5 years, Jaishankar has reached China. Jaishankar has also posted a picture related to Jinping’s meeting on the social media platform X.
Jaishankar has written- I met President Xi Jinping with SCO’s foreign ministers in Beijing this morning. Greeted Xi Jinping on behalf of President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi.

Jaishankar met Chinese Foreign Minister Jaishankar has arrived in China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ meeting. Earlier, Jaishankar met Foreign Minister Wang Yi. In this meeting, he emphasized the need to have a stable and constructive relationship between the two countries.
Jaishankar said that the issues related to the border should be focused, contact should normalize and work on removing the obstacles in business. He expressed confidence that India-China relations can move in a positive direction on the basis of mutual respect and understanding.
