6G preparations started in India, Union Minister told when service will be launched

After 5G, preparations for 6G service are now going on in India. Many countries around the world have not been able to launch 5G service yet, while India has moved towards 6G. Union Minister of State for Communications Chandra Shekhar Pammasani has given information about when 6G service will be launched in India. Even before this, a test bed for testing 6G technology in India will be made many years ago. The Modi government at the Center has also started the India 6G mission for this. Like 5G, India will be one of the first countries in the world in launching 6G.

The 5G service in India was launched in 2022. Within two years, a 5G network network has been laid in India. 5G networks have been delivered to 98 percent of the 750 districts of the country. After Airtel and Jio, VI has also launched its 5G service. At the same time, government telecom company BSNL will also launch its 5G service in June this year.

6G will be launched in 2030

The Union Minister of State for Communications said during an event, “We are preparing to bring 6G service by 2030 under India 6G mission. We will be the leading in the design, development and deployment of the Communication Technology of Next Generation and will launch the service by 2030.”

The Minister of State for Telecom further said, “We are going to make India a telecom export hub. We will not only work from semiconductor to network equipment, but are also going to make them.

The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has shared this statement of the Minister of State for Telecom with its official X handle. The government has made complete preparations for the development of 6G in India. The Modi government at the Center has announced the India 6G mission for this. Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also mentioned the 6G mission several times in the public forum.
