Naeem Khan, councilor of Lajpatpura ward of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, died under suspicious circumstances on Friday morning, 5 December. 67-year-old Naeem was recently in the headlines due to his second marriage to a 25-year-old girl and his expulsion from BJP. When his health suddenly deteriorated, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police have ordered post-mortem.
Let us tell you that just two months ago, BJP had expelled Councilor Naeem Khan from the party for 6 years due to serious allegations related to women. Before their marriage, the girl had also made serious allegations against him, after which the dispute continued to escalate. After the marriage, the new wife had also lodged a complaint with the police, on which the Gopalganj police station had registered an FIR. Due to all these incidents, Naeem was said to be under mental pressure for a long time.
Big claim of Naeem Khan’s daughter-in-law
After the incident, the statement of daughter-in-law Shikha Khan came out, in which she said that Naeem Khan had started feeling very upset after his second marriage in September. There were daily disputes between him and his new wife, which increased his tension. Shikha told that on Friday morning, December 5, she got a call that her father-in-law was not doing anything, and when she reached there, she came to know that he had died. The family has demanded a thorough investigation from the police into the entire incident.
Police investigation on many angles
Leaving the family of his first wife, Naeem Khan was living with his second wife in a house built in front of the office in Sanichari. The police is investigating from every angle and according to the doctors, the initial suspicion is heart failure. The cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes. Police have secured viscera and blood samples, which have been sent for further forensic investigation. Given the background of family questions and controversies, the police are considering the matter as sensitive and are moving ahead.
