The accused were identified as Rahul and Sahil of Haryana. Police claim that he was working on the instructions of gangster Rohit Godara, who was present abroad.

Police said that the next day on October 3, two more criminals belonging to the same gang were caught after an encounter in Kapashera, identified as Akash Rajput and Mahipal of Rajasthan. Police officials said that several cases of extortion and kidnapping were registered against the duo in three states. He told that the criminal Rajput, carrying a reward of twenty thousand rupees, was caught after being shot in the leg. Police said that both used to work with Daler Kotia gang.
